Good teaching should be teamwork
My teaching approach is focussed on the outcome that the student needs to achieve, and my aim is to do this as a team – so that the lessons will be led by how the student’s abilities progress. A discussion about the progress made at the beginning of each lesson will be very useful here, and some parts of the course may need more emphasis than others.
This flexible method should lead to the student feeling comfortable at all times. She/he will gain confidence as small successes will lead to a much greater understanding of the way the language works.
